Delray Beach Communities
Delray Beach is a diverse vibrant community situated on the Atlantic Ocean. A small and intimate town with big-city sophistication.
Delray Beach was voted Most “Fun Small Town in America” by Rand McNally and USA Today. Delray’s Atlantic Avenue which runs through the center of town from I-95 to the ocean, is the longest main street in Florida.
Delray Beach is filled with art galleries, upscale shops, fine restaurants and nightly entertainment. The town is also known for its family-friendly festivals, including the Delray Affair, the Delray Garlic Festival, the Delray Beach Wine & Seafood Festival,
and for its seasonal 100-foot Christmas Tree.
In the southeast corner of Palm Beach County, on the Atlantic seashore, a village by the sea that began as an agricultural community in 1895 has become one of Florida’s most popular destinations for visitors, new families and seasonal residents. The City of Delray Beach encompasses slightly over 16 square miles with a permanent population of nearly 65,000 and growing. Over the past decade, renewal and re-development efforts in Delray Beach have resulted in recognition as the All-America City in 1993 and 2001, the Blue Wave designation for our clean and beautiful beaches and hailed by city planners around the nation as a model for growth management.
